From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are excluded from the North Shore stretch between Llandudno Pier and the first slipway, shown on the council map. From 1 October to 30 April the council says dogs can use the whole beach. Check the map and signs before walking onto the sand.

No. Between 1 May and 30 September, West Shore’s restricted section is the area between the low-water mark and the promenade between its two stone groynes. The rest of the seasonal rule is not the same boundary as North Shore. Dogs can use the whole West Shore between 1 October and 30 April; follow the council map and local signs.
