Norfolk Heritage Park and Endcliffe provide two separate outdoor choices, without needing to turn the break into a Peak District hiking trip.

Choose Sheffield for a park outing at Norfolk Heritage Park or Endcliffe Park, with no need to extend along the whole Porter Valley. Expect slopes and follow the council's seasonal short-lead guidance and play-area exclusions.
Choose Doncaster for a short woodland walk at Sandall Beat or Shaw Wood, using one as the main outing and the other as an optional second visit. Follow signed dog controls and check the path conditions.
