Website operation

Our server records ordinary access and error logs, which can include IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and a referring page. These help operate and protect the website. Logs are rotated daily and retained for up to 14 rotations.

Aggregate reporting

We count successful page requests, outbound affiliate-link requests and broad referral categories, including Google and ChatGPT where the referring information identifies them. These are request counts, not unique people. Known automated traffic is filtered where detectable. Reporting stores daily aggregate counts, not visitor identifiers, IP addresses or complete referring URLs.

There are no advertising pixels, embedded booking maps or third-party analytics scripts in this launch version. Fonts and photographs are served from our own site.

Other websites

Following a link takes you to a separate website with its own privacy practices. Booking.com links marked “Ad” pass through CJ to attribute qualifying bookings to this website. Following them shares ordinary request information with those services; their own privacy and cookie practices apply. We count the outbound action locally as an aggregate click, not a booking. Official accommodation and visitor-information links remain untracked.
