Choose a short seafront outing, checking the council’s map before going onto the sand. North and South beaches have designated summer dog-exclusion sections rather than a single rule for the whole coast.
Exclusion zones apply from 1 May to 30 September. Follow entrance signs, keep your dog controlled and check tides.
Official visitor information ↗Make a separate trip east of Bridlington to this wooded ravine. The Tree Trail is three kilometres, with shorter sections available, but several flights of steep steps make it a demanding option for some dogs.
Dogs are welcome under close control. Use current trail information; even the beach approach is steep and should not be treated as a level promenade.

After settling in, take a short promenade outing and look at the harbour from public pedestrian areas. Check signs before using the beach. Return for the meal arrangement you have booked; your dog needs to stay with you at both listed properties.
Consider Danes Dyke if your dog handles steps well and the paths are in suitable condition. Otherwise choose another modest seafront walk. The woodland is an optional change of scene, not a reason to push through a route that is too steep.
