Stay on the High Street in the hotel’s separate Mews building. Its six rooms span two floors without a lift, so arrange a ground-floor room if stairs are unsuitable. Dogs can accompany you in the bar/lounge or garden, giving you a more workable meal plan than assuming all hotel restaurants welcome pets.

Choose one section using the estate map instead of treating the whole park as a single walk. A shorter Long Walk outing can be enough for the first visit. Check visitor updates for closures and stay off the orange-red horse tracks.
Leads are required in car parks, around the visitor centres, on Obelisk Lawn, in the Valley Gardens and Deer Park, and wherever signs require them. Dogs without reliable immediate recall must remain on lead. The Savill Garden and its visitor centre, Adventure Play, Virginia Water Pavilion/shop and Farm Shop/café interiors exclude pet dogs; designated terraces are alternatives.
Make the river your easy arrival outing, with the Brocas meadow on the Eton bank as an optional extension. Keep the lead ready as you move between zones and give deer, horses and other wildlife plenty of room. Skip the longer circuit when it is hot, busy or your dog is slowing down. A terrace stop depends on the weather and opening hours; dog-excluded indoor attractions are not a fallback.
