Check the council’s current beach map and choose a short seafront outing. Its 2026 guidance allows dogs west of the Pyramids towards Hovertravel and east of the Coffee Cup towards Eastney throughout the year.
Dogs are excluded between the Pyramids and Coffee Cup from 1 May to 30 September. Follow entrance signs and coastal-work diversions, check tides and keep clear of rough water.
