Can a dog under one year stay at Trump Turnberry?
No. Trump Turnberry’s current dog policy requires dogs to be house-trained and at least one year old. It allows up to two medium-sized dogs per bedroom and charges £75 per dog per stay.
Dogs must be kept on a lead on the resort grounds and are excluded from public function rooms and restaurants. The policy names the Turnberry Lighthouse, Gravel Terrace and a limited number of tables by the main hotel fireplace as exceptions; check availability for the designated tables.
Can my dog go into Culzean Castle or the adventure playground?
Ordinary pet dogs are welcome in the country park but are not allowed inside buildings or adventure playgrounds. Keep dogs under control throughout and on a lead in the Walled Garden.
Is the Swan Pond walk a manageable short outing with a dog?
NTS describes a ¾-mile/1.3-km, 20-minute easy, flat loop starting and finishing at Swan Pond car park. Dogs are welcome under control; keep close around the pond’s birds and wildlife.
