The current Visit Pembrokeshire listing says one dog is welcome, with a one-off £42 fee per dog for a week or short stay. Dogs must stay off soft furnishings and cannot be left alone in the house; bring your dog’s own bed, bowls and food.
The National Trust’s circular route is 2 miles and takes about one to two hours from the turning circle at Harbour Village, where it lists free public parking. Dogs must be on leads because cattle and ponies graze nearby; the path has sharp gradients, a stream crossing, stiles, kissing gates and rocky ground near cliff edges.
Pembrokeshire County Council’s published reopening notice describes a 500-metre boardwalk and asks dogs to be kept on leads throughout the reserve to protect wildlife. The notice dates from 2023, so check current access signs and any closure notice before making a special trip.

Goodwick Parrog West is a 700-metre seafront promenade described by the National Park Authority as having no real gradients or cross-falls. The same page advises visitors to supervise dogs and take care around the Coast Path; it is a much shorter option than Pen Anglas’s uneven, steep 2-mile route.
